Commerce platform
Established hosted commerce platforms for the storefront and checkout. We do not build our own payment or checkout layer — that is a solved problem and a poor place to be original.
Commerce platform, internal operations tooling and reporting that reconciles orders, cost and media spend into one view per brand — built because spreadsheets stop telling the truth at volume.
Established hosted commerce platforms for the storefront and checkout. We do not build our own payment or checkout layer — that is a solved problem and a poor place to be original.
Internal tooling for order routing, exception queues, supplier coordination and fulfilment tracking. Built in-house because the workflow is the business.
Orders, landed product cost, shipping, payment fees and media spend reconciled into contribution margin per brand and per day. The number that decides whether to scale.
Platform, payment provider and advertising APIs read on a schedule, with failures surfaced rather than swallowed. A silent integration is worse than a broken one.
Order and customer-contact data only, kept for as long as the order and its support obligations require. Card data stays with the payment provider.
Role-based access to internal tooling, credentials held in managed stores rather than shared documents, and separation between staging and production.
At a few orders a day a spreadsheet is fine. At volume it becomes a record of what someone remembered to type, and the gap between the sheet and reality is exactly where margin disappears.
Our tooling reads the platform, the payment provider and the ad accounts directly. Where a figure cannot be resolved — a missing exchange rate, an unmatched settlement — it is reported as unknown rather than quietly treated as zero. A dashboard that rounds its gaps to zero is a dashboard that flatters.
| Area | Practice |
|---|---|
| Card data | Never stored by us; handled in the provider's hosted fields |
| Credentials | Managed secret storage, rotated on personnel change |
| Access | Role-based, least privilege, separated staging and production |
| Transport | TLS on every public surface and internal API |
| Data retention | Order and contact data kept only as long as the order and its obligations require |
| Change management | Staging first, versioned releases, documented rollback |
| Monitoring | Integration failures surfaced to an owner, not logged silently |
